Fuel Injectors

The last new American vehicles sold in Memphis with a carburetor rolled out of the Tennessee dealerships in 1990. Fuel injectors deliver fuel far more precisely than carburetors. That translates into better fuel economy and more power for Memphis drivers. Virtually all fuel injectors for gas engines are known as port fuel injectors because they deliver the fuel to a port just outside the cylinder. Port fuel injectors operate at about 40 to 80 pounds per square inch of pressure.A few vehicle manufacturers have introduced gas direct injection systems on some engines recently. Also, in recent years, a large percentage of new vehicles in Memphis have been leased. These folks plan on turning the vehicle in after two or three years, so they haven't focused on the maintenance that helps a vehicle last longer.

Given all that, what's the benefit to keeping up with factory scheduled maintenance? Well, your vehicle will perform better and return better fuel economy.

While it is true that you can't get in and adjust the electrolyte levels of a sealed battery, it is by no means maintenance free.Batteries are very sensitive to changes in the weather around Tennessee.
